Default Mod. 662 or 66-2

I have a problem I'm trying to figure which model I might have The stamping says mod.662 but having a hard time finding info. On this model. So is it possible it could be a 66-2? I see no dash in the numbering. It's a S&W 357Mag. S/S with a 4" barrel and it's a prelock.

By the description that you give,,,It sounds like a 66-2,,,But I am no expert.
You may have to put up a little more info and wait for one of the resident experts.

Hey, post a picture of the gun..But if the gun has a half lug, is stainless steel, with adjustable sights and a square butt, you probably have a 66-2...Best thing to do is post pics so we can confirm the revolver.
