Default Value of a like new model 13-3

I have a like new 13-3 serial C-232XX with the original box (tattered) paperwork, and rust preventative paper. Original grips as well.

What is the value. I've heard that the model 13 was recently discontinued, and expect that would raise the value of these revolvers.

It may have been fired, but not much. I do believe that more than every other chamber has some indication of being fired, but it's so slight... it could be either way.

No rust, pitting, handling marks, like new.

Please advise [email protected]

I sold my 3" for $750 about 6 months ago which is slightly more than market value.

your "serial C-232XX " dates to 1948, but S&W model 13 began in 1974.

perhaps your s/n is incorrect. look at the bottom of the grip for the s/n

if your s/n is correct then you have a model 10, 11, 12 or 45.

the model 13 was discontinued in 1999.

Locally a 3 inch 13-3 with box and docs will bring $650 to $700. Great revolvers! Regards 18DAI
