Default 617 leading

I get leading on my 617 in a few different places:
*Top strap of frame
*just outside the barrel(5 oclock) on the frame
*and on the yoke assembly.
Is this common, or is it a timing issue. It's not a great deal of it, but enough to make me scrape it off. I have been using various ammos, Rem Goldens, Blazer bulk.
thanks,
wth

That is going to happen unless you use the copper plated/washed projectiles.

I have found the Federal bulk packs that are sold at Walmart work quite well and do not bind up the cylinder with excessive lead and lube build up

I found just to opposite. The Federal Bulk fills my 617's top strap all the way to the cylinder after 350 rounds. The CCI Blazer don't seem to do it near as much.
