Talking A pair of Fixie L-frames

Just got the 581 yesterday, it was a prize in an IPSC shoot, bought it from the original winner. He shot the heck out of it, it's got some holster wear, some bluing loss from the grips and it had a few specks of rust from sitting around for years. I really like the character of it, and it's a nice companion for my 681. The 581 came with the safariland grips the 681 now wears, and the 581 is wearing some ahrends that I stripped of the poly and re-contoured. I had some altamont finger grooves on the 681, but they just weren't quite right for me. Not sure what to do with 'em... anyway, here's a pic!

Eta: they are both no dashes, 581 has M stamp, 681 doesn't. 581 s/n is AEN86xx, 681 is AUD82xx. Both still have the white inspector stickers under the grips.

Nice guns. I like the 586, but my favorite, and the one that I foolishly sold, had an undercut front sight. What a mistake.

I've been looking for a used 581 or 681 for a project. If you're thinking of selling either one let me know and we can talk.

Nope! At least not the 681, to be honest the 581 might be a project gun someday. What's your project?

I want to see one cut down to 3" and round butted.
