I have Weigand bases on several of my revolvers. High grade bases for reasonable cost.
One thing you need to know. Because of varying sizes and shapes of Red Dot sights and scopes the adjustment "turret" on some will interfere with ring placement on a particular mount. It is disappointing to order a base out and find that your particular scope or Red Dot won't fit. It might be worthwhile to call Weigand and ask if they might have mounted your particular Red Dot sight with their base.
Here is my Smith Model 520 with a Weigand blue base securing a Simmons 30MM Red Dot sight. They also furnish this in silver:
The Weigand design doesn't rely on just screws for a recoil lug. When you remove the rear sight to install, the Weigand base uses the sight cut as a strong recoil lug. Regardless of the recoil of the particular revolver, this base will not fail.
