Since I got my 340 my son has decided to get a 442 snubby instead of a full size 44 magnum(that's latter). He's watched some videos and is heading to the gun shop weds. His main use is concealed carry and this little 340 or a 442 or 642 is perfect. Why I didn't think of this sooner is beyond my comprehension???

I picked up a 442 Pro Moon Clip from Bud's a while back.
This is a No Lock version.
It comes with 2 Moon Clips.

TK has additional Moon Clips for it.
TK also sells the California Competition Works J Frame Moon Clip Carriers for them.
Welcome to TK Custom.com & Moonclips.com

I carry mine in a Lobo Model 1 Pancake with Optional Inner Hammer Shield, and also Detail Boned.
Lobo Gun Leather - Home

The 442 Pro Moonclip is nearly perfect for concealed carry. Perfect will probably after I get the XS 24/7 Tritium Front sight installed.

With this set up you have a fast reload using Moon Clips.
You can carry your reloads on the belt infront of the holster where you can access them for a fast reload.
You have Positive Ejection of all 5 rounds which are all together contained by the moon clip.
After you have the $60 XS Front Sight installed by a Gunsmith, you pretty well have the bases covered for the perfect J Frame concealed carry revolver.

I about forgot. I installed a set of Hogue Checkered Walnut Finger Groove Bantams on it. Talk about adding a little class to a 442, the grips really set it off.

What would be nice would be a Blued Steel version just like it.

Bob
