Default couple of 629s

Hi everyone this is my first post. This is a great site with tons of infomation.

After years of living with 1911s I've found myself drawn more and more toward wheel guns. Recently I made two trades in a three week period that resulted in three hand guns two which were 629s.

I had a 3" 629 in the early 90s which was my woods gun. I sold it in 2001 and missed it every since. When I had the chance to deal on this 629-6 I jumped on it.

The next trade was for the 629-1 8 3/8" along with a Colt xse lw gov. That was a very good day for me .

The 629-1 has the correct grips that are stamped 1982 on the inside. It has been drilled and tapped for a scope. As soon as the new base arrives I will mount a Burris 1.5 x 4 scope.

While I will always love my 1911s I'm finding myself checking the classified for revolvers.

Welcome to the forum and the revolver lover's club.
That's a couple of nice magnums you got there. I also like the leather and knife.

Thank you. I use to make knives a long time ago. I made the holster for the 629 3" I had before. Glad I held on to it.
