S&W 617 no underlug
I know a lot of people would like to have one of the Ashland no underlug 617 revolvers. If you've got the dough, there might be one for sale on Gunbroker right now if you search. It is not mine and I do not have the money to buy it. I probably wouldn't anyway because I don't like the way they look.
I removed the link per rules.

That's just too much for the gun in my book or at least for my wallet.

Were they all in the dull "bead-blasted" finish like that?

Is it possible to get enough people here to have S&W make a run of these? I would go for a 4" barrel though.

I like a .22 as much as the next guy.
But that is the kinda money you shell out for something far more special IMO.

I'd like to think that even when those were brand new from the factory I would have had the brains to have bought a truck load at $495.00.....I was only about 10-12 yrs old when they came out

Sweet and I assume there was only one available at the time for that price or you should have bought them all?

One of these popped up on GB NIB about 3 months ago. It was up for less that 2 hours. I saw it, just needed to double check product code etc...came back to hit the buy it now at 895.00 AND IT WAS SOLD!!! I will hate myself forever for not just hitting the button when I first saw it but I'm kinda new to this and wasn't 100% sure...the guy obviously did not know what he had...Doubt I will ever get that chance again ; (

I bought one new from Ashland when they came out. I was so dissappointed with the grey finish but I kept it. I'm starting to like it more all the time.
