Default 460ES

Does anyone have one of these? And if so, just how bad does it bite? Was thinking of acquiring one now that I have become acquainted with my 460V....

Contrary to what most think, less than the longer barrels.

My ES is about 500 fps slower than my 12" and about 300 fps slower than my 8 3/8".

Muzzle blast is bigger, if you can imagine.

Use mine when hog hunting with dogs, use 250 Barnes XPB with a 100% case fill of Trail Boss powder.

Fatal to hog with none of the drama of the typical 200 grain round.

My wife took her first hog this year with it.
