I have a 360PD and im wondering if the Crimson Trace LG-405 grips are worth the money as far as how good the laser works and making the gun more comfortable to shoot .357? thanks

If you want the CT grips and intend on using the gun as a CCW, the 405 is probably best. The 305 may be better for recoil absorption (but tacky for concealment). No CT stocks will make your 360 pleasant to shoot with full .357s (ouch).

I've got the 405's on my 340PD. The padded backstrap tames the recoil immensely and believe me, an 11 1/2 oz. revolver shooting full load .357s can use a little taming.
CT lasers are very dependable and hold zero very well.

Will the 405 grips help in using a speed loader with my 360?? I tried to use a speed loader and it hits the stock grip making it hard to use.

I have the 405 on my 638, and had it on a 442 before that. It is very thin and conceals well. It was a bit sticky at first, but some daily wear and shooting has taken the stickiness away. I find the backstrap padding to give a bit more comfort than a stock boot grip, but not nearly as much as, say a Pachmayr Compac grip. Still, I carry it daily because of the laser. I shoot ONLY 38 Specials, and still do NOT find practice to be particularly enjoyable with the 405.

If I had it to do over I'd get the 305 and deal with its slightly larger profile. I'm sure any early stickiness would also go away with daily applications of lint from cover garments and body oil from handling. And the wider grip SHOULD be more comfortable to practice with. I still would NEVER use one on a 357 of ANY frame material and expect anything but misery from each shot. YMMV, of course.

I have a set on both my 642 and 317. Quality product; holds zero, concealable, comfortable

Just installed the laser LG-105 for the 360 PD J frame. Works and the best thing is I don't have to aim, just point. Whenever I joined an army, USMC and IDF, they always gave me an M-60 or similar. Just follow the tracers, kinda the same here. All my handguns except Colt 45 have either red or green, why not?

Looking at the 5starfirearms.com speedloader for 360 PD is it better than the HKS 36 which I use now?

I use them on my 642 with a titanium cylinder and CT-405's. You want to make sure the aluminum surface on the 5star speedloader does't leave wear marks on the guns surface. I do not have a 360pd but the speedloader did wear the coating off my 642.

My 340PD has worn the LG405's since they came out. They do help a lot with recoil and they are very concealable. Of the three versions of CT grips that I have on various j-frames the 405's are by far the smallest.

I have them on my 442 and love them! As stated, holds zero well and I shoot .38s and some +P that I find recoil is not an issue. Carry in front pocket of loose jeans and they never stick to the material.
