Default Picked up a 648

A friend of a friend, is going thru a divorce and needed some cash. She was asking $400 for this piece, I gave her $500, and didn't blink. It's a 648 no dash 22 mag, has one minor scratch in the finish which will buff out, and barely a turn line. Combats are perfect.

Beautiful gun. With the great condition and the combats it was still a good deal. Should shoot like a charm. Keep us filled in.

Default + one for you

ladder13, you are a most honorable man. You didn't take advantage of her and still got a great deal. Knowing that will make shooting that fine 648 even better!

Default M-648

Well Sir, you did a good deed and acquired a great revolver in the process. I wouldn't mind having one of those myself. I'm sure she is pleased that you were able to add a little to her asking price and I know you are a "Man of Integrity", good for you Mike! Great Get!

I have a Marlin bolt action 22 mag, so I bought a bunch back in the day, 2 years ago , for about $10 per box from Walmart and Grafs.

Way to go Mike!

I have been wanting a 648 for years...I finally settled for a model 48 instead

And kudos for taking care of your lady friend as well.
