Default New to me 629-6 Talo Edition

Hello all,
New guy on the block here. I picked up my first Smith a few days ago and thought I would share some photos of my new gun.
I have been wanting a 44 mag pistol for the longest time and as luck as would have it I finally got one.
This one has about 400 rounds through it, a new set of grips- Hogue Paul Ferro. It had all the normal items with it, box, paperwork, spent casing, ect...
I spent the last couple of days cleaning her up, the previous owner was a shoot it till it stops working type of guy and never cleaned the gun, so it took a few days of scrubbing to bring her back to her original glory.
Hopefully this weekend will bring some time to give her a run at the range! Time to make some noise.
The only issue I see with it is the rear sight blade has some wiggle to it, moves all directions but wont come out if the sight frame. The cylinder release (not sure if that's the right name for it) also has a lot of play but everything else sees very tight.

Well as promised here are some awesome cell phone pictures.

Wow that is a pretty 629. You have it shined up like nickel almost. I love those palm swell stocks. Let us know how it shoots and welcome to the forum.

Thank you, I happy to be a part of the forum, I don't have a lot to contribute right now but I'm a sponge and learning all I can.
Hopefully today or tomorrow I will give her a run!
