Holster for Model 60 3" Pro Series?
Anyone know of a holster available for the Model 60 3" Pro Series? I can't seem to find anything out there for J frame revolvers longer than 2 and 1/8th inches.

Being left handed I needed a paddle holster( So you don't have to take your belt all the way out to put on a holster) I ordered this one from Safariland. It is open ended so the barrel peeks thru a bit but that is no problem. Love the holster, love the gun.

I know of two custom makers, Simply Rugged and Hays Holster, where they will make them for 3" or other lengths. I have several of each and they are very good quality holsters at fairly reasonable prices.

The Bianchi 5BH is still available in a small frame 3" size, check a vendor such as OpticsPlanet.com. Or keep a close watch on Bianchi holsters on eBay.
If you have some time, watch for a Bianchi 5BL, an older holster that carries the gun in a slightly lower position that is a little more comfortable.
Another option would be Tex Shoemaker Leather. They will build a thum break holster to your detailed specs for a very reasonable price.

Here is my 3" 60 Pro holstered in an S&W Accessories sourced 3" J-frame holster, with my 3" 63, which also fits perfectly, alongside:
If I remember right, it was $65 + s/t + s/h - and may have been available then in the LH version, too. Check their site.

PS Use a better belt!

This applies to me as well, I have a 3" 60-4 needing a home. 2 add'l questions-- these holsters w/ an opening in the bottom-- would 4"/5" J-frames work in them in a pinch? I suppose blueing wears much easier, but ss okay?. Also, I crossdraw-- are there any that are particularly suited for that approach? Thanks!

holster for 3 inch 60 and the 3 in pro
I have a Lobo 3inch enhanced pancake that all 3 inch J frames go in well ,even the pro. The enhanced pancake design is so great on the belt that you dont even know your are wearing it!!!
Google LoboGunleather and look at it

Bought a DeSantis Speed Scabbard from a friend who bought it from a dealer who had a bunch of them made up custom from DeSantis. He liked the holster but decided to get the Simply Rugged Silver Dollar Pancake instead as he can wear it both on the belt and with straps IWB also...

Matt Hooper,
My S&W 3" J-frame holster clearly has 'DeSantis' imprinted on it's backside. I've had it ~ 2 yr.

Contact Ray at Lobo Gunleather. He made me a holster for my 3" J frame that fits all my 3 incher's and is as fine a concealment holster as you can find-it is the enhanced pancake.

Can someone give me a Item/part # for a OWB and/or IWB leather holster for a 60-15 Pro Series?
Must haves:
Strap Thumb release
Cover full length of 3" barrel
Cover trigger
If you know of any please let me know. No referrals to a custom holster maker. THANKS
