Can anyone recommend a holster maker willing to do shoulder holster for 6.5" barrel X-frame with scope? Like to keep it under $300 if possible.

How about one of those chest rigs? I'd think it would be more comfortable and more practical.

For now, I ordered from Simply Rugged Holsters out of Prescott, AZ. Should be about 3 weeks till I get my holster. Let you know how it fits\feels.

Definatley consider a chest/bandolier style holster. It seems to distribute the weight on my 500 really well

My Simply Rugged holster showed up last week. The fit and finish on it are great. Snug fit on my S&W, but then it should be. The rig takes the weight well and it's a pleasure to wear.
