Default New (to me) Model 1924 Heritage

I just picked up a model 24-6 heritage in 6½ barrel with nickel finish. I paid $750 otd. Apparently it was made in 2008

Nice! I've got one just like it. First thing I did was remove those awful grips( too narrow at the top & too long on the bottom) and replaced them with Eagle "cokes". Enjoy!

Yeah, I had been eyeballing it for about six months. I didn't need another .44 and I didn't need another N Frame. It just spoke to me.

That's interesting, I have a 54-5 Heritage model made in 2001, I didn't know S&W named a later model Heritage also, I guess I need to catch up.

Or maybe Supica & Nahas need to come out with a 4th edition! I bet they get really tired of hearing that.

Actually the box is marked "Classic" not Heritage, my mistake. As you can see it has a 4 screw sideplate.
