One like this Lobo Leather holster would be perfect, except with a thumb-break:

Lobo Leather has the following statement regarding their IWB holsters: "Thumb-break retention is not offered on IWB-style holsters".

Since I carry my 329PD OC about half the time, I would like more retention than my current Safariland 568-12 holster provides.

Thanks,

Call Craig Chadwick at Lightning Arms Sports 503-643 -8198. lasports.biz He carries several top end manufacturers He may even talk you out of a thumbreak. If you're using top leather (holster and belt), you probably don't need a snap.

I've had a couple of Ray's (Lobo Gunleather) IWB holsters, one was for a 4 Inch L Frame, and with both inner and outer Hammer shields it really doesn't need a thumbreak. The dual Hammer shields pinch in very tightly and you could shake it upside down and it won't come out. Heck the horsehide one I have for my 2.5 inch 686 only has the inner hammer shield and will hold a a pretty vigorous upside down shaking.

If you really want one, email Ray and he may do it for you, he's always been very accommodating, I have gotten about 5 holsters and a belt from him.

Ok, thanks for all the good ideas!

First, "retention" doesn't mean "stay in the holster"; it means, "keep someone from grabbing it", as in open carry.

Ted Blocker: I haven't seen that name in years; I'll have to check it out.

Thanks again!

IWB holster for N-Frames

I use a Kramer Handgun Leather Thomas Perfectionist holster for my 4" N-Frame carry. It's a high ride IWB that carries the best of any of the multiple IWB holsters I have tried for N-Frames. I should post a photo of mine, but here is Kramer's website URL for the holster:
