340 PD Airlite 357
Ran across one today ..put it in layaway...gun has been carried ..but shot very ,very little (like most light J-Frames)
Really didn't know to much about them until after I put it in lay away..another fellow was getting ready to snatch it..
scandium alloy frame with a titanium cylinder...no wonder they call it a Airlite....mostly got it for future trade bait..
The gun has a few marks on the black finish..salesman said thats normal wear on these...lock up was tight

Buckeye 63, Hi! Don't quite know what info you're seeking, your post is not specific enough. Please give more specifics so we can help. Some of us (I) really love J-frames and have a lot to say.

Trade Bait?
The 340PD is a great little revolver if you like absolutely brutal recoil, loud muzzle blast and brilliant muzzle flash. I have the very similar S&W 340SC titanium .357 J-Frame and I love the little beast. It's the type of handgun that you either love or totally hate. Do yourself a favor and don’t shoot it with magnums if you suffer any wrist trouble or arthritis. Regular .38 specials wadcutters don’t kick too bad
I just can't fathom buying one as "Trade Bait" however. I carry mine 24/7 and love it
In a way it's kind of sad that another fellow was getting ready to snatch it when you put it on layaway. Hopefully he found another Airlite available somewhere to buy in the meantime.

I call them gnatweights, and can't imagine shooting .357 Magnum ammo in one; but then I have old, arthritic hands. YMMV.
My other concern about carrying a .357 snubby is that in a night threat situation I'd be blinded by that stupendous muzzle and cylinder-gap flash and unable to assess the situation (and possibly spot other assailants) after the first shot.
I think if I had one it would be loaded with .38 Special ammo.
