Default Rear sight blade

Anyone have any rear sight blade assemblies for a 586 It just arrived today 95%+ before shipment. When it arrived the rear blade was broke The damage was covered now I just need to find one.

I purchased a W/O one recently for a 686 but can't remember the member that I bought it from. The one I want would be plain no W/O.

Thanks in advance for any leads!!

Latin, Fragile. Maybe it should have read in English, able to be broken easily

And the worst photo of all

Simply call S&W and order it. They may just send it for free like they did for me earlier this week when ordering a new rear sight leaf screw and elevation nut.

Note that they are closing for two weeks, starting next week so it won't go out until after that.

Try Midway USA, Brownell's, Jack First Gun Shop, several others. You do know Mr. Google don't you? Your picture looks like you will need a .160 sight.

If you are going to replace it yourself, be sure you get the correct tools, available from Brownells, Midway or even S&W. The rear sight screw breaks when you remove the rear blade, and the nut is staked in place, so you will need a new nut also. The tools are the staking tool and spanner. While ordering, might as well get the spring and detent, since everyone who does this for the first time loses the small parts. There is a video on Midway USA or you can Google replacing S&W rear sight blade and you will find the video which generally shows you how to do it.
