Default Model 629, 3", Lew Horton, value???

In light of the parallel thread on 624s I thought I'd enquire about a similar 629 with a 3" barrel.

I was at a gun show about 4 years ago and I seem to recall that all of the similar 62x Lew Horton's were in the 800 dollar range and more. Has that changed?

Red face

I wouldn't sell mine for way over a grand. I'd never be able to find another for sale without paying more. I paid $450 about 7-8 years ago and it was high then. 3 times that wouldn't get my interest.

Very interesting. I thought as much but it's nice to hear. I paid 300 or 350 for it and I owed a good friend $900 so he took the gun instead. I got to where I simply wasn't fond of it any longer. I'm just a 38/357 guy.
