S&W bodyguard .38 +P Revolver
I was wondering anyone have had any experience with the .38 + P BodyGuard? I'm considering getting one to carry as conceal carry when it travel since it is small and easy to conceal and might be more comfortable while driving long trips. Also, is the 38 +P a good round? I don't have any experience with the round. I have used .38 special, .357, 9mm, 40, 45, and 44 in the past. Any information and advise will be greatly appreciated.

I've posted my experience with a BG38 elsewhere in this forum, no need to repeat myself other than to say my BG38 was not up to the standards I'd expect from S&W. It was entirely undependable and couldn't be fixed. Mine might've been the exception, but I can't recommend a BG38. Do yourself a favor, get another J frame, any other J frame.

Mine works fine. Haven't shot any Plus P in it.

Mine shot +p just fine. Smooth trigger too. However, it was "quirky" and my opinion was that it isn't a very nice looking gun. I'm also not a fan of the LCR. I'm not against the poly frame, I just don't like its shape. And I also would have rather had it without the laser. I ended up trading it for a 642, and love that little gun. Carries easy and is only like 1 ounce heavier than the bg38. If black guns are your thing, the 442 is great too. Up to you though
