and I hope I do not find a cure.
Had all three of these and sold them, 642 instead of the 442, but saw the light and now have the band back together.
Thanks for looking, Frank.

Glad the band is back together! That 686 is a great all around gun. It will do most things passably and several things very well. Happy shooting!

The only real sickness you had was to let them go in the first place! Sounds to me like you've been cured.

The only thing better than that would be three Aiweights instead of two!

That is a mighty fine looking collection! Do you practice the New York Reload then?

I hope to add a 642 soon. I like the black but for summer carry I want the stainless. I am moving south next year and I think it will be easier to maintain.
Thanks for the replies people, Frank.

No, not yet. Thinking of a ankle holster with the pocket as a way to go. Need to order the Wolf spring kit and see how that feels also. I carry the 638 all the time I can now.

It's awful hard to argue with the carrying ease of a j frame. I have one for off-duty (M649 in 38 spl) and one for back up in my vest (M37 no dash). Those airweights are pretty enticing. I'm in the market for a nice, low mileage 442 ( I like the stealth bomber finish). Enjoy those babies!

Now you'll have to turn the band into an orchestra.

An Orchestra? I like that idea. Maybe I should look for some older models. I also would like to pick up a 640, I had one of these also, no lock, and sold it. I am SOOOO dumb.
Frank.

Interesting that you chose a bodyguard for off-duty, but an airweight Chief for a BUG. Do you ever switch them around?
There are some good deals out there in used guns. I recently bought a 442-2 which it turns out was only about 7 months old. When you deduct the value of the ammo, holster, & extra set of (pink) grips I got with it, I only have about $290 into it. That's gotta be close to a hundred bucks off even the Sportsmans Warehouse price, not even counting sales tax.

Good looking trio, probably all you would ever need (I know S&W would not like to hear me say that). Well, that is the group I have except mine is an M66 rather than an M686. End result is the same.

I keep trying to talk myself into buying just one more but I cannot seem to convince myself.
