found a 686-3 thats engraved and combat grips

no idea on engraving looks to be laser done have to take more pics what the big deal on stock combat grips I see there not cheap

Never been a fan of laser engraved firearms. Looks cheesy. Still nice gun!

I might be wrong (and probably am) but I think I saw several S&Ws like that one advertised on sites like GunBroker.com back when I was actively pursuing 686s five-plus years ago. Going from memory again, they were a special run ordered by a distributor OR a limited run by S&W.
I share James' opinion of that kind of engraving but guns with it may become valuable some day.
