Last revolver of 2013....629 Classic DX
Here is my last revolver purchase of 2013. 629-3 Classic DX with all the goodies except the paper work & test target. This one was made in 1992 and wears a 6½" barrel.

Sweet purchase. I scored a similar dash 3 this past July. My package was complete except for a couple missing sight blades. The enclosed paper work has the part numbers for all the sight blades so I called S&W Customer Service and ordered them. The blades were in stock and this was back in July. I still have not received them. I've called twice about it and the rep tells me things are slow. It is absolute lunacy.
You will love that gun, enjoy.

You outdid me!
My last purchase of 2013 is only a Classic.
I got it at a gunshow two weeks ago. Spending is done, until 2014.
I will suffer with it!!

We can suffer together, this is one of the last guns from 2013(a-2 MR was the last one). You've gotta love the classics

Very nice guys........I just don't know how you know it is your last of 2013. I'm admittedly weak and if the right one crossed my path well
I'd pull the trigger again. The wife has forgiven me so far

That's right Paul. Still a week left in 2013 and I'm still on the hunt.
Happy Holidays to all.

Gotta love the 629 - what a shooter! I love mine, though it's a 2013 built piece, but OMG does it ever shoot.

Congratulations!
My last gun of the year is an old west CCW of modern manufacture.
It's a 45 Colt, but I'm going to call Ruger to get an ACP cylinder for it.
The bird's head grip is amazing! I always thought they were inadequate and peculiar, but after holding it - holy smokes! They fill the hand perfectly, way better than a cavalry grips for my hand. I tend to like Bisley and plough handle grips on a SA, but these are fantastic.

Yeah, I believe the folks back in those days knew what they were doing. No sight rails or other doo dads. Just plain business. Beautiful gun.

A five inch square butt 629-4 classic was my last purchase this year (so far) mine has forged case color wide target hammer trigger without the chamfered cylinder edges, love the quick change fS blade option but also need some different ones , looked on Brownells but most were unavailable.
