Default Smith 19-5 !!!

I made a trade and got a Smith 19-5 in 4". I got the revolver to shoot IDPA,Icore etc. I was looking for a SS 686 but couldn't pass on this. This thing is super clean and I almost am afraid to use it for I intend to. But I am not a collector. This trigger is super sweet and I think it will be a great IDPA, Icore gun. I am officially a Smith Revolver guy. Woo Hoo!!!!! Jim

Nice find Jim...

I found this one on "Black Friday". They do have nice triggers.

I have a 19-5 nickel, 4 inch, which is the oldest gun of those I own. Other than removing the beautiful wooden grips and replacing them with ugly rubber Crimson Trace laser grips the gun is the same as when I bought it back in 1986. And it is still my go-to gun for middle of the night situations. There is just nothing like a quality K-frame 4-inch revolver from S&W. It's just what a gun is supposed to be. Enjoy your great new gun!

I'd trade my M&P in a minute for another Model 19!!

You think that trigger is sweet?.... The more you shoot it, the better it gets!

The model 19s just seem to be about perfect. Here is a picture of my primary carry piece a 19-3 with Grashorn's and a T-grip.

I have put 50 Factory rounds and 50 of my reloads and the gun is very accurate. My reloads are very accurate. It has a Pachmayer Gripper grip on it now. I bought some very nice Hogue wood grips that are so nice but did not like the feel for what I was using the gun for. I was hoping to put a Fiber optic sight on it too but it looks to be a one piece front sight. Great shooting gun and it will be a great IDPA and Icore gun. Jim

I've got a 4" 19-4 w/all options, and it's got the nicest trigger of all my 19s. Wouldn't part with it for anything.
