Default Defect on 686

Hi All,

I recently acquired a new 686 and there are a few defects on the front of the barrel. I was curious if anyone can help me find a way to clean/buff this out? I am new to stainless steel revolvers.

I tried to take a picture of what I am talking about but in a nut shell the marks are black-ish and look to be somewhat in the metal.

Thanks!

Off Topic I recently put on some new Ahrend's Cocobolo Grips. They are awesome!
