No and those that developed the .357 Magnum cartridge had enough foresight to make its overall length too long to work in .38 Special revolvers. This was to prevent people from being tempted to try their luck at it.
To use .357s in a lightweight J-frame, get the 360 or 340 which are designed for .357 use. Be advised they are brutal to fire with magnums, even for this J-hound.
