I have had this gun approximately 3 yrs, bought it new, fired somewhere between 1500 and 2000 rounds thru it. The flat part of the recoil shield is just shiny. The angled part is between 0.005 and 0.010 inch deep (as measured by my thumbnail ). Is this normal? Should I be lubricating the contact areas with gun grease?
