New 637 Wyatt
After a lot of help here, decided I wanted another j-frame more than my Glock. The first choice was a 640, but couldn't find one. The LGS had a 637 "Wyatt Deep Cover" in the case at the right price. I couldn't resist.
Terrible grips, but a very nice polished trigger and PC action...

What grips/stocks are you thinking about getting?

Thanks.
Looking at several rosewood Altamonts. I knew the grips had to go right away, but like the gun itself very much.

Some very informative posts on this model over the past year, to which I have contributed in a small way. I have 2 Wyatts, adore them, and consider them to be among the slickest carry pieces out there.

P.S. Don't let the logos bother you. They turn off many folks who are missing out on a good thing.

Did that guy ever go to jail?
Seemed to be living the life of Riley until the gov't. caught on to his shenanigans.

S&W should offer this model in a No-Lock version without the Wyatt logos. i bet it would be a great seller!

Amazing that just the logo by itself seems to be holding this gun back! At least, this is the message I get from posts by other members.

On the regular J-frame smooth combat trigger, I get pinched pretty good. Is this thing chamfered at all to mitigate that?

Took a trip to the LGS today to look at a 642 Talo edition. A very nice j-frame. I just couldn't differentiate it enough from my 642 'work gun' to justify the price.
It's official; I am hooked on the 637 Wyatt. It felt like an extension of my hand. The physical form of the smooth, slim trigger (not just the silky pull) was enough to sell it. I prefer the bobbed hammer over the 642 internal. It seemed to balance better in my hand.
I did check out three Wyatts and every trigger was polished (externally) slightly different. My first is actually thinner in the middle and flares very slightly at the bottom. This is the most comfortable trigger I've touched.
For those against the IL and logos, I respect that. But, those are both non-issues for me.
I walked out of the LGS today with my 2nd Wyatt.
Have fun and happy shooting!

Hey, Mark. I think you and I are the only Forum members with 2 Wyatts. Great minds work alike. I'm also not a fan of the HipGrip knockoff installed on the gun and have changed them out. If we each get a third, we can practice juggling and make some real money!
I also have been told by dealers that the actions on the "regular" PC 637 and 642 are not superior to the Wyatt. Good luck and good shooting!
