Default New to Me 386PD

Subject kind of rhymes

I just won this on a GB auction. Seems to be in real nice shape. A little more than I wanted to spend, but $647 seems about right. I was the only bidder. I lost one earlier this week that went for $711. Just one other guy bidding on that one. About the same shape as this one.

I'm sure the sights are not factory. They look like the set XS sells for the 686. Front big dot night sight, single line blade rear. Anyone confirm that?

I will let you know how it shoots when I get it later this week I thought this would go nicely with my 386NG. 5 ozs lighter due to the titanium cylinder and different sights seem to be the basic differences.

Front sight looks higher than the red ramp on my 386pd (might just the angle of the picture though), also the factory rear on mine is a U notch with white outline not that single line V.

Congrats!

I really like the Big Dots, but they do take some getting used to. (Four new shooters I've help teach to shoot get better hits at first compared to the post and notch for some reason. )

I have the XS Big Dots on my Night Guards and on one of my Glocks. I love them! They are not precision sights, but very fast combat sights.

My concern was that I was dealing with some sort of Bubba sight job on the 386PD above. I haven't handled the gun yet as it was a GB purchase. If it is the XS set, they should line up and function correctly. If not, who knows what I am in for

I might put the C&S U Notch Extreme Duty rear on it like my NGs have.

The rear sight looks like it is adjustable.
