Badger grips anyone use them?
I have been thinking about getting a set of badger round to square combat grips for my 617-2 and 686-5+. I have no experience with them. Anybody tried any type of badgers, do they fit the frames, how well made are they? If this isn't the right section then please move, just figured with what I will be using on are in this area. I think mostly they will be used on my 617, but will probably try them on my 686 also. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I am also looking at a pair of gently used herretts in the same price range, they are the rounded finger groove trooper with checkering. But I think I like the round to square better with both revolvers being 6".sorry if I am rambling.

While not the ones your looking at, I have a set of there boot grips on my 642 and the fit and finish is great.
I'm sure someone with a set like you are looking at will be along soon.

I have had several Badger grips over the years and have found them to be both attractive and well fitting/made. You wont be disappointed.

Badger grips
I've got them on most of my revolvers, "L" & "N" frames.
Good feel, fit & quality.
The round to square grips are on the 657-5 (top right) & 686-0 (bottom).

I use them from time to time. If the grip fits your hand you'll like them, I'm sure. If you're one of those folks whose fingers don't like finding their parking spot, not so much.
On my PC Quadports:

This. VERY well made, outstanding quality ... but just didn't fit my hand as well as I wanted.

Nothing like Badgers..
I have had them on a Ruger SP101 (whch I sold) a 686 (which I sold) and now my m60 (pictured) they are fantastic! They eat recoil, they look beautiful, and they feel good. I love them, and you will too..
