Default Model 629-1 Recall Serial Number Range
I have an S&W Model 629-1 with serial number prefix AJF and am trying to determine if it comes under the recall range. I do not have the box. Any help provided will be appreciated.

The recall was for the model 624, an N frame but in .44 Special. I'm sure someone here will correct me if I'm wrong, and quickly .

Edit to add:

The 629s were subject to the recall per the link below. Factory customer service can check for you if you call them with the SN.

To the best of my knowledge, S&W 629s have never been recalled. If you want to check just dial 1-800-331-0852 and they will answer your question.
