Default Unfluted cylinder heat retention (M460)

Just curious, has anybody noticed/compared whether their 460's un-fluted cylinders seem to hold more heat, & stay hot longer, than their 460 fluted cylinders, during a range session? Mine's unfluted & while I realize these guys run "full afterburners" I was wondering if there's a noticeable difference between them, heat retention wise, or if it's just my imagination.

Yes they hold their heat longer, they also takes more to heat up.

More mass to hold heat heat and less surface area to dissipate it.

Has not caused me any problems.

Great picture, I love it!

My bones won't handle the big bores anymore, but I love seeing you guys shooting them.
