Default Model 19 secret service commemorative

Greetings,

I may have the chance to buy a model 19-5 secret service commemorative revolver never fired, new in box. I believe there were about 2000 made.

Does anyone know what these are currently getting price wise?

Thank you.

Several discussion about commemorative here, especially lately. Suggest a search.

Typical commemorative set-up -- basic revolver with special agency stamp, barrel markings, and commemorative case -- tend to sit if listed over $900.

Hap is correct, but IMHO, I feel it'll sit at a lot lower price than $900...

The various commemorative guns have a smaller set of collectors who are willing to buy them. Hence a longer time to resell if the need arises. In general a factory stock revolver will sell quicker and for more $$ than a like commemorative.

Best of luck whatever you chose to do.
