New .45 moon clip demooning tool
After seeing all the types of tools to demoon a .45 moon clip which i had alot of trouble doing bare handed, i tried something out of the blue that worked fairly easy. I took a sharpie stuck the top end in .45 casing and popped it right off the moon clip. just a thought. so much easier than buying or making a tool for the time being.

As long as you don't bend the clip it sounds ok, but on the other hand, take a look at post #29 here:
So what's so good about shooting 45 ACP in a revolver?

thanks for the tip. the sharpie doesn't bend the clip, just gives me the right amount of leverage to get the .45 casing to pop off the clip.

To each their own. I love an excuse to buy a new gadget. I bought the Mooncliptool and liked it. A month or so later I saw the BMT Mooner and it seemed even better (although more expensive) so I bought that one too. No regrets, like them both but am using the BMT mostly.
