Default Everyone has a 22, Lets see them

Hello all,
I grew up with 22 cal revolvers as I am sure everyone else did, have not had one for years as the larger calibers always prevail when new guns follow me home. Last week I finally snagged a nice model 63 no dash, no box no nothing just a nice example of a 63 that I plan on having loads of fun with. Lets see some of what you all have in 22 caliber.

At one time I had a dozen each, 22 handguns and rifles.

These days, I'm down to one of each.

Ruger, 50 anniversary Single-Six.

Ruger 10/22, Wally-World Special.

Seemed kinda silly having all those others and not shooting them.

1948 K22:

I recently purchased a M&P 22 Compact and now have a 43C on layaway. Looks like I'm going to have to do another round of photographs before too long.

I have "three-and-a-half" .22LR handguns. The three "whole" guns are Smith & Wessons, two no-dash 617s and a Model 22A-1 Talo Edition.

The "half" is an Advantage Arms rimfire target conversion kit I can use on my S&W and Kimber 1911s. I don't have a photo of the kit handy but here are my two S&W 1911s.

Fortunately, I always kept a good supply of reloading components and 22LR ammo on hand so the shortage hasn't affected my shooting at all - I haven't bought any since before the shortage and still have 5,800+ rounds left, mostly CCI MiniMags.

S & W model 63 3 " and a Beretta 21A. I also have a M & P 22 compact on the way.

I'm not sure how I did it but I forgot about my NAA Pug Magnum. Maybe because it's so small.

A Model 63 is on my 'must-have' list.

For now, these are my keepers:

*** Colt Woodsman Sport (Purchased by my Dad, the year I was born, 1950)

*** Ruger Mark II (Purchased by me, the year of my prime, 1985)

Too lazy to snap a new pic with only the 22's, but here ya go. 17-4, a Single Six, and a NAA Sidewinder in 22 Mag. The 28-2 is the only one I no longer have. Didn't care for the balance of the 6" 357.

I also see why I can never find any deals on a 617. You guys own them all...

I hardly have any of my 22s photographed. However as I list them here I realize how much I love 22s.

SO let's start with the rare one. This is a S&W Model 45 M&P. It is chambered in 22LR. This one was part of the S&W Factory collection.

Now we will go to the fast one. This a G3k .308 machine gun that HK produced a sub caliber kit for. So it is also a 22LR machine gun

This is a custom Ruger MK-I built by Volqurtsen

This 4" Model 63 was the personal property of one of the mid level honchos at S&W. The unusual grips were salvage from the dumpster as they failed quality control. I like them

This 2" Model 34 had it hammer bobbed and a second 22 Magnum cylinder set up for it.'

This is a sweet old 2" I-frame Kit Gun that I found in a pawn shop.

Here is one of the super lightweight Model 317 revolvers. Great little 8 shooter

I can not find a picture of mine, bit this is a USFA 12-22 Single Action revolver. There is something real cool about a 12 shooter.

Stock Photo

Here is a Manhurian PPk/s. There is also a Walther PP and PPk/s to go with it.

I do not have photos of my numerous MK-II or 10-22 Rugers. I guess that I have to shoot some of them and my S&W 41s, AR7, Dan Wesson, Colt Diamond Back, Bearcat and Witness

I have a few lever actions including this Henry Golden Boy

There are probably more, I just can not think of them at the moment.

I have many 22s, but these are the only ones I have pictures of at the moment

Top is a 1936 K22 Outdoorsman. Bottom: 1948 K-22 Masterpiece

1909 Single Shot 2nd Model with factory 8" barrel.

Tip-up 1st Model, 3rd Issue factory engraved

Model 48-3 from 1977. I have original grips for it, but like shooting with these finger groove ones instead.

I do not believe so but if it is a re-finish I am surprised the safety dots were repainted

It is being ghost threaded for a suppressor at the moment

I already had the two Walthers when I found this sitting in a local gunstore whose owners do not put things on the Internet. The store was two bays in a shopping center and 98% black rifles and plastic pistols.

While they were in business I made some truly fantastic purchases from the single used case in the shop.

I have a few .22's, LOL, Here is an available photo of my MKII Competition Target.

I think I enjoy this .22 pistol the most, of the ones I have. I really need to photograph my others. Like always, revolvers rule IMHO.

These three I bought last summer for good deals, I think people were getting tired of not finding .22 ammo and started selling their guns. The 317 was so gummed up with frog lube it would not function
.

Three more Rugers.

My guilty gun collecting pleasure is to match up a big gun with a .22 making a "Father/Son" set. Here is my 617 w/ my 627

I have a bunch but only two are photographed.

Here's my Md 34-1 Kit Gun, a fairly recent pawn shop find.

And this is my Md 63 that I bought new in 1979. Please note the terribly mismatched stocks. That's the way it came!

I've showed these before. The 17-3 now has a 10 shot cylinder that's not showing in this photo.

I bought a 2" 34-1 and another Ruger .22 since I took this pic. I also have a 10-22 and a Norinco knock off of the Browning take-down .22 but no pix. Joe

Did someone say 22s? I happen to love a good 22. Unfortunately most of the 22s made right now have ****** triggers and poor sights.

Default High Standard Supermatic Citation

I bought one of these new in 1978...........foolishly sold it around 1991. Got out of pistols and revolvers and shooting. When I decided to get back into it this was the first gun I was after and luckily found this gem!
A most delightful 22 semi-auto to shoot, standard velocity ammo and a tack driver!

Love my 17-6

This lovely Browning Trombone came from my GF's grandfather

And I think you can't go wrong with a Beretta 87 Target (although it has WAY too many markings for my taste).

Almost forgot this little semi auto French carbine, Unique X51, gifted to me by my best friend's father

Since this thread has migrated to all kinds of 22LR firearms, which I like to see, I'll offer up my Remington 541-T with oil-finished wood from Remington's Custom Shop.

I also have a matte-blued heavy-barrel version but it isn't as attractive. Both have factory match chambers and are extremely accurate.
