Question Market Value Model 360PD Scandium / Titanium 357

Hello all:

I have recent purchase of a Model 360PD, Scandium/Titanium, 357 snubby. I bought the piece "for a song!" My problem is, it is about to kill me getting use to shooting it because of the inordinately hard trigger pull. I first bought a Ruger LCR 357 with its butter smooth trigger and I am constantly comparing the Smith to the Ruger. Please do no flame me for the comparison.

Now my question is this: Would it hurt the value of the little Smith to have a "trigger job" and "buff and fluff" done to it by a professional gunsmith?

Or, am I better off just learning to shoot it as is?

Any help needed and appreciated.

Advise when possible.

rd
