Looking to know the SD or DOM of my Smith 625-7 that shows serial# as: CER5497

Between October 2000 (CEF), and July 2001(CEV). "CER" does not appear by itself.

Thanks Dennis; so not all the letters are shown, is that right? R being between F and V although far apart..

January - February of 2001.

Based on 10 other CER s/n's I've seen. They were all in that range.
