Shop has 629 4 in P/R 625 ?????????
Stopped at a small shop they had a nice clean 629 4 in P/R 625 is that a good deal ???????also had the nice large smith grips

If it is truly a pinned and recessed 4" 629 (made for only one year, highly sought after), best to be back there when the shop opens next...and please post photos  .

Did it look like this? Because if it did, you missed out on a rare gun that is probably worth at least double what was on the hang tag.

If it has not been drug behind a truck for 10 miles or used as a saltwater boat anchor, you need to pick it up ASAP. My 629-0 4" recently returned from the gunsmith with some mild customization (night sights, no more red ramp, magna grips) and is an amazing platform for standard performance .44 mag.

Yes looked just like the gun in the picture .Will go back . I had one years ago. Now that Iam getting older I keep finding more stuff . Did get a real nice 28 dash 2 real clean 4 inch for 275

I got a SW 39asp with custom shoulder holster and 3 mags for 275 at a shoe the guy did not know what it was . I did

They still had it . They are closed on Mondays . Went in today and it is a 4 in 629 goncalo alves wood big grips nice action, you could bang D/A if you wanted . N8556xx marked 629. Didn't want to spend cash but would have .so I traded her a Ruger super black stainless 7.5 inch and 235 boot money for the 629 4 incher . no box with it . I no an old lady at the post office that has a smith 4 inch 41 mag stainless with box . she wanted my 1940 Win 94 for it .
