N Frame five inch Classic holster recomendation please
I have three five inch N frame revolvers:
629-3 Classic, 625-2 model of 1989 .45 acp, 610 no dash.
I guess the same holster will work for all three ?
What belt hoslter would You recomend for 5 inch N frame classic?

1920 "Tom Threeperson's" - 2" to 7 1/2" Barrels
I know they will make them for the full lug barrels because they have made two for me.

Simply Rugged Sourdough Pancake. I use the "inside out" straps for IWB carry, and it can also be used as a regular belt holster.
Disappears under an untucked T shirt.
There is no better concealment holster for a large gun IMO. I've tried others and nothing works better for me.

I carried a 5 inch Classic in a Simply Rugged Sourdough-Pancake holster on hunts for several year's. It worked quite well and could be carried strong side or cross-draw.

Look at the Simply Rugged's selection of holsters. Very comfortable and functional. Great prices too.

Not to disparage any other suggestions that have been made, but you simply cannot find a holster any more "Classic" than the Tom Threepersons style, whether from El Paso or any of numerous other makers

The FBI forward cant pancake holster still made by Galco is high right hip, no snaps, functional, concealable and comfortable. Open end means you can carry any barrel length. I use it for by 29 four inch, Thunder Ranch 44 Special, and my 325 air lite 45. Simple, fast and proven.

I too say simply rugged. They have a good selection. Sometimes they have pre built 5 inch N frame holsters.

Sparks 200AW would be my classic "go-to" holster. That's what Elmer Keith would do at least...

When the words holster, classic, and N frame are used in the same sentence, I'd say a Mexican-carved Myres or Heiser. The originals end up on auction sites from time to time though less frequently for an N. Wouldn't settle for a modern copy made by anyone.

For me, the word "classic" usually equates with "simplicity", just simplicity in function and design. The majority of my holsters are of the Threepersons design for double action and single action revolvers. I've tried other styles/designs, but I always return to the basics, perhaps because I associate that style holster with good times and good friends.

Maybe I'm reading this wrong, but I don't get the impression the OP is looking for a "Classic" holster, but a "belt holster" for his "629-3 Classic" (full underlug I'm assuming)

Exactly, which is an issue when couple with the 5 inch barrel length. Not many holster makers offer much for 5 inch full-lug barreled N-frames.

The Simply Rugged holster pictured above with my 5" 627 V Comp in it was actually made for my 5 1/2" Redhawk, and it works perfectly as the V Comp and RH are about the same size.
I'm sure if you contacted Rob at SR, he'd be able to accommodate the full lug on your "Classic". Very good guy to deal with.
This is what's riding in that holster. As you can see, it's pretty stout in the barrel area .

You are right. Looking for holster for field carry but that would also hide the gun well under photographers vest. Tortila jolster from El Paso sadlery looks good.
