Default 25-10

Any thoughts on a 25-10? I'm awaiting shipment of one and I've done some searching for information but there appears to be a shortage of that? It looked like a nice revolver to me, other than the 6" barrel.

If you got the box, post a pic of the box label, along with pics of both sides of the gun. It's not one you see everyday. The Performance Center -10's were some of the first I saw with the then new 4-screw frame. Should also have the ball-detent lockup on the yoke. These -10 N-frames have a number of cool special features like that.

I saw one -10 that was marked "45 S&W" which I thought was funny. That was the cartridge for the old Schofield revolver back in the day. Also known as the .45 Russian. Pre dated the .45 Colt.

I don't have the gun and the box was not included. I've only seen photos so far. I'm hoping it's a good accurate gun.

While I do not own any of the -10 engineering revision of the model 25, I do have many revolvers from the 25/325/625 family in both 45ACP and 45 Long Colt.

I have a 6 1/2" version of the model 25 on the way to me right now. It is a -11 engineering revision. First purchase of the new year.

They are very fine revolvers and I am certain you will enjoy yours as much as the rest of us enjoy ours.

My 25-9 six incher is accurate and fun to shoot. Handles stout .45 Colt loads just fine.
