My New Chattanooga 442
Couldn't help it...
I don't like the hip-grips, so grabbed an ugly (but comfortable) set of Hogue bantams from my LGS junk box. Almost ordered a set of Altamonts, but the rubber seems to work on this one?
This little guy came in the huge N-frame capable PC box. Could have fit four or five of them in there!

Nice acquisition. I got mine and decided to blend the gun. At first I ordered screws etc from Brownells, then changed my mind and had the gun and small bits cera-koted. The gun looks like a normal 442, but has the incredible trigger only available through the PC guns. I am not a bling guy as am concerned about the SS glare being an issue. I knew I could get the gun and make the necessary changes. I also changed the grips. Will post pics later!

Do the Hogue Bantams cover the backstrap? Or are they open?

"Pardon me boy" (Glenn Miller here), are you sure that's a Chattanooga? All I have seen (including my 2) have a bright stainless cylinder, bright cylinder latch, trigger and sideplate screws. Also, the Performance Center logo is on the left side of the frame where yours has the standard logo.
Still a nice gun!

I just picked up one of these as well from Bud's. There is no comparison to my 642 trigger, even with a DIY polish and Wolf 13 and 8 lb springs. The PC trigger is really nice.
I was concerned that I wouldn't like the "bling" of the SS and high polished parts but in person it is really sharp. Definitely my new pocket/carry revolver.
I put a set of Crimson Trace 405 compact grips on it. Although they are pretty small, it is relatively comfortable and conceals great. I like the DeSantis clip grips for IWB carry but with the CTs, I wear it in a Sof-Tuck or in a pocket holster.
The 642 is now wearing Pachmayer Compaqs and is my backup car revolver...
