Default Gun show purchase

Went to another gun show today. I had posted earlier about finding a Model 66 3 inch bbl for 695.00. Well long story short, met up with the fellow today and it came home with me. Mod 66-2 3in bbl with s&w R/B combats + the original magnas. $675.00 out the door. Will post some pics as soon as my tech support returns. (wife) lol

Great deal... I would defiantly pay that for a 3"

You'll enjoy it for sure.!

Hard to find good ones around here too. One must be patient.
I bought 66-3 2 1/2" just a couple months ago. No box, but with a Bianchi Shadow holster for 550.00. I couldn't believe that price for around here. I added some Kim Arhends RB grips

I like gun shows! There are usually some nice surprises there. Now, whether you can afford them or not, is a different story! Enjoy your Smith! Bob

There's many sets of factory combats on gunbroker & ebay that start @ $500, I'd really like to thank the guy who is driving the prices up on these
He's a forum member here BTW

There was a guy walking around at our localGunshow that had a 3"er M66 & wanted $500 I almost tore my rotator cuff going for my wallet

I would have gone an easy $700+

He's a forum member? He's had those sets up for 6 months with no sales. So I hardly think it's him driving the price up. I thinks it's funny that he is out of touch with reality.
