Default Added a 629-5 4" to the stable.

I did a little trading and picked up a 629-5, 4". Has a set of round to square butt conversion grips on it, that's ok. But I think I have a set of combats to dress it up.

Can anyone give me a production date on it?

To add to this post, does anyone know who made those laminate grips?
I've only saw the exact grip once on a Gunbroker auction 629, there are similar ones with S&W medallions.
I bought a used set at a gunshow a few years back. Value?
