I need help from Smith and Wesson forum members, because all other methods have failed.
I have a S&W 686 Competitor revolver with all black front dovetail sight, on S&W website it is called Partridge/Dovetail. I got this gun almost a year ago and I love it, but have been looking for a replacement front fiber optic sight ever since. I contacted S&W customer service, they do not have any replacements options for this type of front sights. S&W representative provided the height .343 and recommended contacting Hi-Viz company.
My gun has a LPA rear sight, and I am trying to figure out maybe LPA has a suitable front sight.
Recently hickok45 posted a video of 629 Competitor with a full set front/rear fiber optic sights that looked like LPA. Anyway, if you know who makes those front sights please let me know! All your suggestions and advices are greately appreciated!!!

I had the exact same problem! Mine was the 686 competitor. I'm pretty sure it's the same as mine, as it came with the LPA rear, and all black dovetail front. The only person I could find to make me some fibre optic fronts was....

I had him modify my original sight to a green fibre optic, and he made from scratch a red fibre optic that I use today!

I believe Dawson Precision makes a one to fit. Their sights available with many different height and width options. Great quality. Best of all their customer service is very knowledgeable about suggesting the right height for you.
