Default Cleaning Kit

Can anyone tell me when Smith & Wesson discontinued putting the cleaning kits in with the boxed revolvers? I am presuming that they quit this practice when they started using the new style cardboard boxes with the American flag and the plastic trigger gaurd holders. I appoligize if I have missed this in earlier postings. Thanks for any info.
