Default SJSP .44 Magnum Ammo Okay for Compensator?

Forgive me if this has been covered someplace (I could not for the life of me find anything regarding the following question), but I just picked-up a 629 PC V-Comp this morning.
Being this is my first .44 Magnum, and also any handgun with a compensator, I would like to know definitively if SJSP rounds are okay to shoot with the compensator on (e.g., won't shave the lead; or worse, blow up the comp)? I'm a little confused over which ammo should be used with which shroud. Any input is greatly appreciated.

That's it? Good to know.
I picked up a box of 50 Magtech 240gr SJSP-Flat to try it out over the weekend. I plan on taking advantage of some hand-loads my brother-in-law makes up. He shoots .44 Magnum pretty regularly.
I know everyone knows what a 629 looks like, but here it is anyway:

Very nice revolver. Not to disparage your brother in law ,consider carefully using someone else's hand-loads. Personally I have a rule against it, But that's just me.

Completely understand your positioning. I shoot with him quite often, so I know his typical recipe; they're on the milder end. It also gives me a chance to learn a thing or two from him about loading one's own.
