For years I've used a set of large X-Frame rubber grips (with finger grooves) on my SW-625 competition gun. The grips, which I think were Hogues, completely covered the backstrap. (That doesn't bother me because I have fairly big hands with long fingers.) These grips needed a small shim between the inside of the grip and the top front of the grip frame. These grips fell apart recently and I need to find another set.

Neither the Hogue of the SW website has any information about these grips.

Does anyone know where I might be able to find another set?

Thanks in advance.

As Jack noted go to the S&W Web Store and order the 500 Magnum monogrip. Due to a licensing agreement with S&W Hogue cannot sell these grips on their web site and I really am looking forward to the day when that agreement expires. Because S&W doesn't always keep these grips in stock.

BTW, I have one of these grips on every single one of my Round Butt K, L, and N frame revolvers and didn't have to shim any of them. However early on I discovered that once a grip has been mounted to an L or K frame revolver it won't fit an N frame properly. Apparently there is some stretching going on and once this grip "takes a set" it's best to leave it on the revolver it was originally mounted to.
