I can't compare to that Vette. I have just a couple special ones. A pre-29 and a 629-4, one of my field carry guns. That last picture of yours looks like what we call a Chupacabra here in NM.

The 3"er and the 7 1/2 PC Black Comp Hunter are the only two IL guns. One of the 8 3/8s and the 6" 629s are P&Rs. I do have one each 4", 6" and 8 3/8" 29s mixed in the bunch.
And the weirdest thng happened right after I took the pictures...a giant sink hole opened up under the pool table and I lost them all. Just like at the Corvette Museum a few years ago!!!

That is the best looking rack I have seen in quite some time! I feel sub-par with only 3 stainless 44's

Those are some really nice 44s, Tin Knocker! They look fantastic!
All I have is one 629-3 Classic and it's just a really sweet shooting revolver. I brought it out to the range today along with my 627 Pro and my daughter brought her 27-3 I just gave her Saturday and got them all really dirty today. I put over 200 rounds downrange with the 629 myself. BTW, my daughter also shoots my 44 too and ain't skeered of it either!

You might find a spare for Big Bore. If freestyle ain't your thing there's always Standing. I'm thinking of doing just that for next year. If nothing else, it'll knock some of the shine off.
And here I was thinking of shrinking my pile of .44s a bit. Of course, many aren't so purty as yours!

Thanks Mudd! 200 rnds sounds like a good range day, especially getting to spend it with your daughter. The dash 3 Classic is the one that sent me down that slippery slope.

Thanks Chris. Hedley turned 2 yesterday so I figured he deserved to be in the pics.
That was a little bit of a job. The pool cue wasn't long enough anymore so I had to find that wood prop rod. That's a good thing, right? Then all the editing and downloading. But like I said, it was a scorcher outside.
My favorite isn't in the pic. It's the PC 44 Magnum Hunter. Let's just say it's getting a tune up.

I love the 29's and 629's....fortunately I prefer the full lugged models and the slab sides (not nearly so many of these made).....so in the process of tracking down a 629-3 on gunbroker....hopefully I can get one for under $2K I'm looking for a shooter not a showpiece!!!!

Wow, they've gone up that much in the last few years? I bought my 6 1/2" barrel -3 Classic for around $800 off GB in late 2014. It was a low round count gun with box and unused tools too. I love the interchangeable front sights and have replaced the red ramp sight with the gold bead patridge sight.

the Big guns too. When my two daughters have time to go to the range with me they remind me to bring the .44's

A couple of months ago I went to the range and three lanes over I noticed an older gentleman with was apparently his grand-daughter. There were two beautiful 8 3/8" 29s laid out in front of them. I overheard the man tell her, "Just think, the first gun you ever shot was a 44 magnum." It brought a tear to my eye!!

Geeze.... And I started my granddaughter out on a chipmunk, or cricket, or whatever those things are called. Bought it from a guy at the barbershop, and thought it was the way to teach gun safety. Single shot, .22, bolt action, really cool little rifle, and boy, I wish I'd of had one when I was just a little guy!!! The first gun I shot was my uncles 12 gauge long tom single shot shotgun. Yikes!!

Looking more closely, I must say "ah h'ain't seed a 3" '97ish 629 afore." Not that I've been looking.
"Bordello" class IHMSA! Was a real entry at the championships this year. I think it's BB targets on the Field Pistol course. But you can't adjust sights once shooting for score starts. Might be fun with the 3" 629s. (4" barrel max for revolvers.) Could possibly be an option at Little River if we work out things right. That side of the range isn't heavily used.
