Help with Info on a .44 Magnum
I've had this gun since 1990 or so, but never knew what the shipping date was since I bought it second hand from the original owner who only had it for a few months. Any help with any and all information would be appreciated.

1988 appears to be your 629 date

Thank you Sir, I appreciate the info.
Anyone have an idea about how much this would be worth in a trade up? It's in excellent condition and had less than half a box of shells fired through it.

That's not too good.....I was hoping for more since I see them advertised for $1200-1300 on the Interweb. I want to trade that dinosaur in for a much lighter auto for concealed carry. A private sale would be the way to go.

Buz, it's kind of hard to give a price range on your revolver without pics and more info. Do you have the original box and tools? And pics help show condition. I know you say it's only had a half box of ammo through it, but does it have much in the way of handling marks or dings? Too bad you feel the need to sell this for a plastic wonder bottom feeder. I have semi auto pistols too, but much rather my revolvers as far as feel and finish goes.
