Default model 63 2" stainless steel

I was wondering if anyone would have the current value of a model 63 with 2" barrel product code 104000, I bought this revolver last year and understand it could be a rare item.
Thanks, Mark

Not to be a wiseguy but it is worth what you paid for it and it is worth what someone is willing to pay. If'n you are selling such a desirable gun, start it high and come down in $25 increments until it sells. Then you will know precisely what the value of it is. I'd probably start it at $1K and be prepared to be patient. It ain't eating a 40# bag of dry food a week. HTH. Joe

Pardon me and allow me to presume you have the box. You indicated the product code so I will proceed.
If you have the box and the 'goodies' that came with it then I would start the sale of that one at $1,500.
Some have sold for more. Seller's that are unaware of the desirability and scarcity of this model may give it up for less.
My price point was published under the assumption that your gun is like new in the correctly marked box.
Anything less will be less.

Nice gun, no box, 11- 12 hundred. It's worth it.

Find another.

You don't see these very often, but I have been lucky
enough to get 2 of them. The first one I picked up at a pawn shop for 400+tax and the second one for $450 about 3 years
ago. One is a Lew Horton run, and the other a standard production gun. Here is pictures of one of them.

I see 4" Mod 63's listed for $1000, so a nice 2" is well into the $1500 range.

The 104000 product code was for the standard production gun,
2" Round butt, red ramp, adjustable sights, 22oz
produced from 1991 to 1998. If it came in a blue plastic box
it would have been from around 1996, or later.
